This was a good post.

You cover 3 options under the banner of assuming "for the sake of argument" that people are born gay. I would be curious to see you cover what the options would be assuming that people are not.

thanks for the post

I thoroughly enjoyed that post. I don't need to be rushed to the hospital due to my blood-pressure and I don't need a stiff drink, but...

I may have one anyway.

Interesting post. I'm completely discusted with the way the church has made homosexuals feel. I guess it's nice to draw a line between in and out when it comes to what Christ thinks. Christ embraced outcasts and made them feel important. Did Christ hang out with all the "good guys" and sit in church like a good boy? No he tore the place apart. I think that's what he's do again today. He'd hug the homosexuals and ask for their forgiveness on our behalf and then turn over our churches. How could Christ turn his back on someone he's already forgiven? We turn our backs and sentence them to hell....I think we'll be surprised to see certain people in heaven. I hope we can handle sharing the place with them.

Another point to make is that homosexuality had a lot to do with idol worship in the old testament. A lot of sleeping with spirits and rape and grossness. My Theology prof once mentioned that all that could be the reason that it is looked down upon more so than having a loving relationship with someone.

I'd like a straight Christian to go back in time and walk in the shoes of a homosexual. I can't say I wouldn't be one then. I can't say I wouldn't be a prostitute if i had the same experiences as most of them do. Pretty much, you can't say you wouldn't be anything or look down on anything just because you happened to win the genetic lottery or had a good childhood!

anyway, I could go on forever. Thanks for being offensive...that's just what Christ was.
